13 days leftEach year Upward Bound promises to provide an enjoyable, interactive, and academic summer program for our students. With the current state of the pandemic and all its uncertainty, Upward Bound would like to continue upholding our Summer Promise and provide a stable and engaging experience. This campaign will raise money to fund the creative and out-of-the-box projects that will ensure we keep our Summer Promise of fun memories, engagement, and development for our Upward Bound family.
The IUPUI TRIO Upward Bound Program has served the greater Indianapolis community since 1995. The program’s mission is to prepare low-income and/or first generation high school participants for successful entrance into a college or university. This college preparatory program is designed to assist students with the development of their academic skills and to provide guidance for success beyond high school. To accomplish this, students participate in two main program components: a nine-month academic year component, which supplements the traditional school year, and a six-week Summer Academy, which traditionally includes courses and activities that foster academic and social development.
