Let's Talk

Highlights

Without treatment, young adults experiencing a mental health issue are more likely to earn lower GPAs, drop out of college, or be unemployed than their peers.

The “Let’s Talk” Multicultural Outreach Program provides consultation to IU students in English, Mandarin, Hindi, and Spanish—free of charge.

This week, 13 Big Ten schools are uniting to increase support for our students and expand access to our institutions. Support IU students in this historic Big Ten-wide campaign!

More Info

64 percent of young adults who are no longer in college are not enrolled because of a mental health-related reason. Addressing these issues often starts with a conversation.

The “Let’s Talk” Multicultural Outreach Program works to end the stigma of seeking mental health help by meeting Hoosiers in spaces they feel most at home. In partnership with IU’s Cultural Centers, “Let’s Talk” reduces barriers and increases access for students by providing free drop-in consultation with mental health professionals.

Your gift could support efforts like:

• Hiring additional counselors, graduate students, and consultants
• Cultural competency training
• Program marketing
