A.R.T.I. performances are lively and reflect the contours of Black lives, from the continent to the U.S. Unwavering in its commitment to address challenges facing Black theatre, A.R.T.I.’s initiatives are increasing visibility and access to Black theatre in Indianapolis. It offers a culturally affirming platform for talent and career development opportunities in the arts.
Africana Repertory Theatre of IUPUI (A.R.T.I.) is an Indianapolis based platform offering theatrical productions, events, public conversations, and research. Its signature initiatives include OnyxFest, People Speak!, Black Stage, and Community Connexion.
