More Info

In honor of my dad’s legacy, his faith, and to commemorate his journey to slay Brutus (what we called his cancer), on Sunday October 11, 2020, I will be running 62.6 miles near his hometown of Princeton, Illinois.

My dad was diagnosed in late June 2018. He passed away March 15, 2020. We had 626 days to spend with him making memories and using that time to bond as a family. Running 62.6 miles represents these days.

The care and support the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center gave to us was incredible and we want to give back by supporting their efforts with gastrointestinal cancer research. Through supporting the GI Cancer Research Fund, we will be helping other patients and their families who are battling their own Brutus.

Please consider making a gift to show your support. It will be the added motivation I need to get through every mile. Many thanks in advance for your generosity!
