IUF Crowdfunding

Highlights

On this IU Day, we join Amanda’s parents in encouraging you to celebrate her legacy by supporting IU Disability Services for Students with a gift to the Amanda Meredith Mills Memorial Scholarship. All gifts to this endowment - up to $3000 - will be matched by Ron and Barbara Mills!

More Info

This endowed fund provides critical support to students who have overcome or are living with physical and/or mental health challenges.

"It’s a well-known and consistently accepted theory that we need our most base needs met before we can grow, e.g. food, shelter, sense of safety. This scholarship helped to secure those components for me.” —Amanda Meredith Mills Memorial Scholarship Recipient

It has been 11 years since Ron and Barbara lost their beloved Amanda, and they take solace and peace in knowing her caring and sharing spirit will be her lasting legacy as she continues to impact lives—like those quoted above— through her memorial scholarship.

The Office of Disability Services for Students is dedicated to ensuring that students with disabilities have the tools, support services, and resources that allow equal access and reasonable accommodations to be successful at Indiana University Bloomington.
