IUF Crowdfunding

Highlights

Improving higher education success for underrepresented student populations is critical to the success of our community, our state, and our nation. During Black Philanthropy Month, we ask you to help us address challenges that impede these goals by supporting the diversity initiatives of the Indiana University Black Philanthropy Circle.

More Info

As the first institution in the nation to establish a Black giving circle connected to higher education, Indiana University believes in the power of possibility and what can happen when a group of committed people work together to improve the education trajectories for future generations of students. This belief is the premise of the Black Philanthropy Circle (BPC).

Created as an outgrowth of IU’s Bicentennial and its 200 years of academic excellence, the BPC provides the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs support in its mission to foster support programs, funding, and other opportunities to boost recruitment, retention, and degree attainment of Black students and the quality of life for faculty and staff on each of IU’s campuses.

During Black Philanthropy Month, we invite you to join in the mission of the Black Philanthropy Circle as a collaborator, catalyst, and partner by making a gift today to the Black Philanthropy Circle Diversity Initiatives fund to effectively address the higher education challenges faced by Black communities today.
