One of the hallmarks of the Indiana University community has been its ability to work together to rally around those who need our support. In recognition of IU Day, the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering is focused on raising funds for our most vulnerable students.
At the Luddy School, providing students with necessary resources to thrive is a closely held belief. Not only are we dedicated to our students’ academic journey, we are passionate about their growth as individuals. An unexpected illness, sudden loss of housing, an unplanned bill—these are just a few situations that create an immediate need for financial assistance. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the kind of tough choices that can arise. Students should never have to choose between their well-being and their education, and the reality is that without access to funds to cover emergency expenses, students may leave school, never to return.
The Luddy School’s Student Emergency Fund is a vital resource providing assistance to our students when it is needed most. Help us keep Luddy School students on their path to tomorrow through a gift to the Student Emergency Fund.
